Russell from UP

Have you seen the movie UP? I have, and it was a nice movie I would say =)

It was about this boy who grew up not chasing after the dreams he had while he was young, then finally going after it when he is now an old old man, and bumped into this talkative young boy Russell just right before flying off to his dream.

And I had a this friend, Jun Meng, who looks like Russell ^_^

Eye Twitch

The corner of my right eye have been pumping/beating abnormally for few days already, and there's nothing that i can do about it besides wondering what chinese always say, it maybe some good/bad events gona happen. Didnt believe it, and i have been ignoring it for few days till tuesday, it's getting worse, so i went online to search if there's any tips or cure for this, below is what i've found (which i have taken only the key points).

What Is Eye Twitch?

Eye twitches are commonly known as Blepharospasm, which is defined as the repetitive and rhythmic contraction of the eyelid muscles. It is the twitching or continuous movement of muscle fiber groups.

Knowing what is the reason behind it is my main reason of searching online as it may help me to avoid the next round of annoying twitch.

Why Does My Eye Twitch?

Eye twitches can be triggered by a variety of different factors. Some of the conditions that cause eye twitches are environmental, some are physiological, and some are psychological in nature. Below is a list of some of the more common causes of eye twitch:

• Fatigue or lack of sleep
• Over consumption of caffeine
• Physical or emotional stress
• Anxiety or phobias
• Brain damage or other neurological disorders
• Associated with temper tantrums (especially in children)
• Eye stress associated with extended viewing of the computer screen
• Epilepsy

I may have lack of sleep, no caffeine, yes stress, computer screen yes, and BRAIN DAMAGE?? this maybe the one big reason to it, hahaha!

When will I ever have my own life?
Do whatever I wanted?
Be whoever I wanted?
Live a life that i dream of?

I know it is now, i know that we have to chase after our dreams, i know, i know, i know, if it's not now, when then? I know, i know, I KNOW !

but i feel so tied down, so many commitments, so many things that i cant just be "don't care la".....

well, atleast i have all that i have now, but im not gona give up dreaming, im not gona just let it be as it is, im not gona just sit and wait for things to happen, im gona go after it, im gona aim for it and im gona get it ! (ofcuz in a right way)

Updates of July & August

super lots of things happened and im just too lazy to sit down n update my blog, eventho i have always told myself, "yea man, this is a nice blog topic!" then, reached home, slumber into short term memory state... =P

In july, i have started working as a half permanent in my company, getting more n more work to do, moved to new office, having my own nice brown L-shaped table (which was used by the boss previously, hehe~) and having the air-cond blowing at me straight the whole day, which is why im having flu & cough now (dinosaur voice). Last event of the month of july, my house kena broke in. Nothing much was taken, but i lost my ang pau money from my aunt for my graduation, n a few watches from my parents, the funny thing is, my laptop is still laying silently safe on my table, wide exposed, haha!

In august, i have just had my convocation few days ago, which was also the opening ceremony of my new office, had to missed it lo...

Convocation was ok, many people, pictures taking, receiving gifts from juniors and family, all the pictures were uploaded to facebook by my MUM !! geng leh, my mum does facebook also k =) So, go check it out ya! (by the way, i've just added one of my secondary school math teacher, Pn.Yap, on facebook!!)

latest news, which happened yesterday, i have gotten my new camera, a graduation gift from parents, Canon PowerShot SX 110 IS. It does not have a very attractive outlook, but it's manual function attracted me, cuz i wanted to practice on using & playing around with some manual functions like shutter and aperture. Just to share, here's a picture taken by James (not me instead, paiseh..=P) while playing around with it right after we reached home with the camera.

Feeling from songs

i've just listened to 'Tear drops on my guitar' by Taylor Swift, i know it's quite an outdated song, i think it's the song that popularize Taylor Swift, but i've really gota say i like it alot, not because its lyrics sings out the i-have-the-same-experience-before kinda thing, but it's the way she put her feelings into words and the music along with the lyrics brings out the feelings at the same time when she sings it, while i listen to this song, i can feel how she felt when she first wrote the song (i think..), i wonder if i can even speak to ppl in a way that they can feel how i feel...

anyway, besides 'Tear drops on my guitar', some other songs were very country feel type, hehe, she was known as the new country pop queen, agree~!

There was another country-like song 'My Worst Fear' by Rascal Flatts, i was attracted it becuz i had a suprise listening to it from beginning to the end, the lyrics i mean, and the story he was singing, it was quite sad if u listen to it properly n feel it, but anyway, the same thing, was impressed =)

Music and songs, i believe, is one of the best ways to express feelings, agree with me? =)

Internship finishing~

as i have blogged before of my 1st encounter with internship, now, after almost 3 months, it's ending =)
i wouldn't say im feeling happy bout it, cuz it was quite a good experience tho, hehe, getting to know more ppl and different ppl, seeing how the oil & gas industry works and experiencing many many other things, starting to feel like a working person adi, hehe, i can kinda predict i'll soon be a workaholic.....
anyway, due to my excellent performance (i hope so, hehe =P), my company is offering me to work as a contract trainee engineer, for 6 months, im stil 'thinking' bout it, which most probably is a yes, hehe!
lets just see what's coming up next in this road that is guided by the precious Light~!

Coffee=Miserable Nite

yea yea patrick, here's my latest update which i coincidentally have one...
i went to Bumbubali for dinner last nite with some old frens and a few more new frens, ate chicken, lamb, squid and pasta. And so smartly i ordered an iced mocha for drink, when i am a coffee-is-so-not-my-choice type of person.... and there goes my nightmare...

reached home around 11pm, lepak around awhile, getting ready to sleep around 12, cuz tmr got work, all done and im on my bed with big wide eyes staring up at my fan whenever i hear any slight little sound... rolled many rounds on my bed, caused so much friction and heat on my bed and i ended up getting up from my bed, turned on my laptop, started playing games til 1am.

tried to get back to sleep again after that, for the whole nite, i dun remember realy getting into deep sleep, awake, doze off, awake, doze off..... till my alarm rang, 7am, gota get up for work....

goodness, was it even a sleep...? anyway, i've made up my mind, never to touch coffee again, whether if it's daytime or at night, phew!
