it has been awhile since i last blogged, think its time to keep things updated now, hehe...
have been busy with assignments, hanging out, fasting and final year project.

currently still fasting, doing the 40days fasting thingy, it's almost over tho, 3 or 4 more days to go... many ppl in our church follow this fasting plan, and different ppl fast in different ways, some fast lunch, some breakfast, some sweet food (or how do u call it ar aunty perlie ? )... as for me, i have decided to fast lunch everyday for dis 40days and.....one thing which is quite a hard one for me to fast-----"COMPUTER GAMES !!" not oni computer games, watever games dat are visual-based, playstation, PSP, facebook mindjolt, minesweeper, and even handphone games =)

when i first started fasting, i had to explain to my uni frens wat it is about fasting, cuz most of them are not christian and seldom come to hear and know bout fasting, except from the malay's puasa (which is goin to start once i finish mine, baton passing~) so, in the process of explaining, feels like it's a gud way to share =)

so, during this fasting time, funny things did happen, like saying NO to junk food dat lay around in my room, staring at the laptop screen and so gona click on the game icon, feeling sleepy when i wanted to spend some quiet time, swallowing down salive when i see ppl in tv show having wonderful dinner....

yea, dis kinda thing happened, but i did learned a few things during this time, like controlling temper especially when the stomach is making noise, trusting God dat he will sustain and take care of my body and endure whatever trials dat come =)

besides dat, i really do appreciate food more now ~!

The Beginning

well, wat i mean by the beginning is the beginning of new sem for me =)
dis new sem, which is also the 2nd last sem i ever will have in upm, muahahaha!! new sem, new timetable (still the no-class-on-friday), but same hostel room, same roommate, same food, same toilet, same bag, same bed, same toothbrush and the same me.. but even so, im stil glad, hehe, cuz im so gona get out of dis place soon !
this sem has started for oni 3 weeks, but i've been doing quite alot of things tho..
i've been to this nicey nicey steak house in balakong for my roommate's birthday, it's named Milwaukee, it's a two storey shoplot, ground floor is the not-so-expensive-and highclass type, 1st floor is the more romantic, dim light, live band and highclass service which made us feel class too eventho v dressed like "one kind"... upon ordering food, v encountered bit difficulty in choosing due to the PRICE... but anyway, v stil had to order food to eat, and it has the nicest, bestest, most satisfying chicken chop i have ever had~~!! and ssmmmoooottthhhh ice chocolate drink~~~ by the way, v met one of our coursemate there too, he was there "also" for his friend's birthday... which v end up having fun together with the singer and musician of the live band that nite =)
besides that v went to play golf too, hehe, in my uni itself UPM... surprise ? yea, upm has this very big area which dey use to plant all kinds of tanaman, kononnya for research, dey even rear cows, horses, kambings and im sure there are some other animals which i've never seen them around normally... well, v went to play golf, but oni at the driving range, which v try so hard to imitate wat the other uncles beside us were posing, u know, the hit-golf-faraway pose... it was fun tho, hehe, shall try it again some other time =)

the 'easy' part time job

long time din post anything adi, cuz have been busy digging money from the ground $_$ hah!
well, i have been working in this kiddie place named Kumon, which most of u have heard of it before, its blue signboard or logo with the word kumon with a semi-smile face as the letter "o". i think it can be considered as a tuition center with a different method of teaching and training children. so they usually hire part timers to mark worksheets as the children come into the center for classes... many of my frens worked in kumon as part timers before, and thats also how i got to know the existance of this part time job, tru the sharing of the gud ol'buddies of mine bout digging money from ground, from all sorts of ground....

so, i've been working in kumon since the starting of my sem break in may, and plan to work for the rest of the holidays which end at the end of june, 2 full months of money digging... i worked on tues n thurs nite in may, hoping to get to work more hours to get more money.... den i've got wat i hope for, a full time staff just quited, so i was asked to stand in for her to juggle up the work around in the place, hehe, and so i get to work everyday now, which means income everyday ~~!! do i sound like a freak cuz of being so happy bout getting more work..... i do feel abit freaky tho, but wat the heck, dats wat im feeling, happy to have sumthing to do~~!!!

well, what actually makes me so looking forward to each day work is that, first, i get paid by just sitting down in an air-condition room with comfortable chair and good lighting, marking worksheets according to answer books that are provided, isn't dat just so so simple ? no date line, no pressure.... bt maybe just abit of pressure when the kids stare at you while u are marking their papers like what wyn nie said... different kinds of reaction i see from the kids, they'l take back their worksheets with a kinda dissapointed look when they see a mistake ticked or they'l secretly jump for joy or a soft yet enthusiatic shout of "YES!" when they get a 100% chop for having no mistake in their class work, cute !

secondly, it's the kids ofcuz ! they are so cute~~!!!

they are cute, funny, unpredictable, submissive, small size, etc... the 1st day i worked, i saw dis small boy, fair skin, with a small face, such small that i think i can cover it with my palm, with small spec, to my approximation, the spec shld be around 10cm from one end to one end, he is just CUTE, fullstop. besides him, there are more, most of them are cute cute cute !! there's this one of my favourite, (got favourite ranking of kids sumore...) she is a malay, everytime i look at her, she will smile at me with her small little teeth coming out, its everytime okay, she never fail to not smile when we have eye contact, haha !

many more la, some are shy, dare not say much, some are talkative, sumtimes kena 'za' by the kids when we say sumtime wrong, paiseh... some are very semangat to finish their work, none stop writing, some wanders of in their mind entah pergi mana, see here see there, see nails, see eraser, see pensil, see us part timers marking worksheets.....

but one thing that i actually learn from them, it is that the children are submissive, submit to older ppl whom they trust on for wise and good decision.. seldom can i see this characteristic in people that i know, frens, and all... they willingly accept the mistakes that they have made, they will not argue bout it, trusting us that we are right, and carefully look tru it again and do the corrections. if it were to be us, i thnk most of us will have a mindset dat says: "i do correct wat..., she must be wrong la, let me look again then see how can i debate with u and see how wrong u are."

the children trust with faith so easily and undoubtly, isn't that just what we ought to be in order that things may go well with us ? =)

pokoknya, i like working in kumon with the kids, having a gud time here ~~!!

p/s - by the way, anyone looking for a part time job, kumon is a gud place n easy money, call me for more information. (sounds like commercial pulak)

Not Becuz...

I talked to a good friend one night about a week ago, our conversation kinda related to the trials of life. After putting down the phone, this is what I had in mind, a thought, a conclusion.

I was chosen,

not because I can love,
but because I need love.

but because I am not able.

~ to do
not what I am good at
but what I thought I could never do

not because of my righteousness,

~ taken in to live with God
not just to show my love for God,
but to be shown love.

not to live a better life,
but to spread true life.

All this is so,
so that I will depend solely on Him, and Him alone.

"Photography"

after doing a few blogs on my daily stuf, today lets do sumting more general, s in more of things dat ppl can relate to.... so, lets tok bout photography =)

i've learned abit here n there bout how to take gud pictures, wat is gud pictures and how to make a picture look gud after taking bad, haha... i used to learn that while i was in sae, which i quit after 1sem, haih....

ok, to take a gud picture, one has to consider the meaning behind, the lighting, the angle, the pixel, the setting of the camera, the distance, the colour contrast, and banyak lagi.... i did try to take sum, hehe, let me show u~

this is one of the pic that i took when i wen 2 my fren's hometown in kampar, it was sumwhere like a dataran, the light beaming out of the tower is actually a spot light to light up the place, i stood in the shadow of the tower, n dis is wat i get, playing around wit angle, hehe, dis is wat i get~~

in dis 2nd pic, i changed abit the settings, aperture (the opening of the hole which allows the light to enter the cam) and the shutter speed (which determines the amount of time the shutter remains open to allow light to reach a digital camera sensor)... with this, can do alot of tricks, hehe

took dis in early in the morn, wen the sun is rising, finding dis tree standing alone n the nice blue tone behind was realy gud! the tree was alone there though, there were other trees, bt i oni focus on one, so to bring out the importance of it =)

these 2 pictures use the technique called sillhoutte, which is to take the pic of the object with bright light behind and capturing oni the shadow of the object =)

moving object, changing the setting of the aperture and shutter, and capture the trail of the lights of the cars =) [withouth the car, haha]

is it realy happening ?

wokay, it IS really happening, hehe ~~ i've got the car adi, its in black, still go back to black after all the thinking and hesitating, haha...
got the car on last friday, 1st day in action was on saturday, hehe, all the way to mid valley, fuishh... the car is stil not tinted yet, so i can feel the heat of the sun on my skin s i drive, sumore u knw la, myvi having quite big window, more surface area kena hit....
it was a smooth drive, hehe, the seats are nice, suit my size, haha =P short and small, my mum even complain once dat she feels abit not enuf for her butt, haha, c how i mean MY size~~~! pedal was smooth too, i have to adjust the seat all the way (almost) to the most front, hehe, so to have a comfortable distance for my foot....
in conjunction wit the celebration of dis new car, my mum purposely made 2 new pillows to put in the car, which are also black in colour, haha, go along with the car's colour~~ nice!
after toking so long, i have been calling my car as my car, the car, dis new car, myvi, apa lagi? i think i better get him a name huh, haha, ohya, by the way, it's a he, cuz i jus wan him to be a he, any objection ? okay, so it's a he den =) so as i was saying, to get him a name, bt stil cant think of a nice name, cute yet yeng, hmmmm...... i was thinking of 'momo', hehe, which is quite cute and -_-" , hahaha.....! but wil stil try to think of sumting nicer, hehe...
besides news bout car, many other things happened too, like trying to get a part time job.... iisshh, nt dat easy man... went into one dat day, disaster, wil tel more in the coming blog.... rite now, i wana go tidor adi, eyes half closed sudah, gudnite yall~~

black or silver...hmmm....

in my 1st post, i did write sumting bout dreaming for a car, green colour or sumting, haha...
u know wat, it's coming TRUE ~~~!!!
it all started last week, on the thursday (if im nt wrong)... i got a call from my mum, saying dat she had a minor accident, got bang from behind by a lorry (sounds geng rite, haha, its not dat tho) she sounded quite worried, cuz having accident meaning she will hav to send the car to repair, meaning she will not b having a car to drive around 4 atleast a few days... --> ma fan-ness (troublesome)
so, i suggested dat she pray lo, since i duno wat else to say to comfort her on the phone and we prayed on the phone together. after that, say like a few hours later, she called back to update me on the latest news on the situation, did the report n was able to delay the repair til dis week, so she can stil hav the car. another thing which she said brings the topic to light for dis blog, hehe, she told my dad that dis car that she's driving has been into few accidents, so, lets just change the car, get "2 new cars" instead ~~~ get it ?? one for my mum, and one for me ~~!! woo hoo !!
i was kinda thrilled, bt stil hold back my breath, just incase it's just another say-only-thing... ofcuz i agree immediately, hehehe... after hanging up the phone, i began to think, we just prayed bout me having a car, and here goes the situation is working its way out, its like a click saying this is it, now is the right time and go for it ! i realy think its an answer to my prayer and a blessing, thank God ~!
my dad was quite supportive of it, and so we went to the perodua show room dis afternoon. was getting the details on the price and specs and all u know... the process of making it a confirm deal is around 50%, hehe... gona sign the agreement tmr morn, goodness, so soon !!! and im gona get it latest by 2 weeks i think.... fuisshh...i stil cant believe it's happening !!
was thinking hard on either black or silver, i have always think black car looks cool and gud and classy and ........ and my mum voted for silver....bt after hearing frm the sale person, she said dat black is aaaabit harder to maintain s dirt, dust and scratches is more obvious on it compared to silver... so, due to my lack of rajin-ness, i started to sway my vote to silver =/
wat do u think ? hmmm.......
